Great batteries for low price. [Posted on 2008-02-29] Aa Alkaline Battery Value Pack very good product with low price. I do not see any differences with others most popular names. When I run them out I will buy them again if the price is going to be low.
I've never had batteries die so quickly [Posted on 2008-03-07] I went through this entire pack of batteries in about a month as they have all rapidly died on me. One by one, each battery operated item I have put the batteries in has failed for lack of power about 75% faster than each should have. Not worth the hassle.
Not good for high-drain devices [Posted on 2008-04-26] I've used these in my pager with OK results; they would probably be OK in wall clocks or flashlights, but they are lousy in digital cameras. I tried some in my Olympus D-580 4MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom and I was able to take maybe 3 or 4 pictures before the camera thought the batteries were dead. If I waited a while, it could take a few more pictures.
I dug out my voltmeter, and it confirmed it. These batteries went from 1.6 volts down to 1.4 volts after a few shots in the camera. After 30 minutes, they recovered to 1.5 volts. The same test with standard Everready alkaline batteries dropped the voltage to only 1.5 volts, plenty of picture-taking power left, and they recovered back to 1.6 volts.
Reasonable Value [Posted on 2008-11-11] These don't last quite as long as Duracell or Energizer, but if your looking for some cheap batteries to put in the kids toys, or a small low power item they will work just fine. For the length of use I've gotten out of these compared to other brands, this is a decent value.
Good batteries [Posted on 2008-12-08] These batteries seem to last as long as Rayovac or similar brands in the toys we have used them in.
