...especially if you want to record videos longer than the discharge cycle of a pair of batteries. Even if you use rechargable batteries, they tend to take longer to charge than to discharge. With this option, the only limit to the length of your video is the capacity of your SD card.

Replaces the two batteries. Should come with the camera. This camera is a fast battery killer so I have to have this 110v adapter. Works!

Although this is worth the price for long transfers, to use it as a charged battery isn't a good idea. I say this only because a small cord hangs out of the battery area.
