photoshop elements does what is advertised [Posted on 2007-09-15] I purchased the Photoshop Elements 5 because I had liked the older Photoshop Album 2.0 for organizing my photos. The new Elements combines that feature with the other editing features of the earlier Photoshop Elements 2. It took some getting used to the different way to edit photos and the added complexity of photoshop elements wasn't needed that much. The ability of the new product to put the tags in the images is greatly appreciated as they stay with the images if they are moved. I purchased the Adobe Premiere with it because of small extra cost. It's video editing capabilities are nice and seem to work well with my digital video camera. I didn't give the overall package the highest rating because of the complex interface of Photoshop Elements editing capabilities. Their quickedit interface helps but still isn't particularly intuitive.
Nice features but buggy with Vista [Posted on 2007-10-05] Very nice how when it downloads your pictures it re-orients them and fixes red-eye. But I've had quite a few bugs trying to make slideshows, which was my original intent. It's probably just a Vista thing. Hopefully after SP1 it starts working.
Good product and great service! [Posted on 2007-10-15] I am very happy with my order and the service that i receieved. i would definitely work with them again
needs tutorials [Posted on 2007-11-07] Needs basic tutorials on things like "Layers". Should show basic examples via video to show how to do things beyond red eye , sizing, and cropping. Where's the BEEF tutorial? I'm not upgrading until they come out with a good in house tutorial.

Good [Posted on 2008-08-07] These programs do everything I need/want them to do. Now if only they wouldn't freeze up randomly. That's annoying.
