Great Bundle [Posted on 2008-07-16] Great case for SD890. It fits the camera very nicely. The belt loop is very tight against the case; so, if you have a thick belt, it will be very tight.
The metal lanyard is rather stiff; but, then again, it is metal.
The battery is just like the one that comes with the camera. Great length of battery life.
Canon SD 870 IS accessory Kit [Posted on 2008-07-16] The protective cover is a bit small (SHORT) for the camera (SD 870 IS)though it is intended for that model. So it take quite a bit of pushing before the button can be closed.
The leather of the cover also came scratched.
Canon Digital Elph Accessory Kit [Posted on 2008-07-19] The camera case is on the small size for my SD870 camera and is seriously missing room for a spare camera battery. The neckstrap is attractive but is "stiff" and impractical for general use. I found the wrist strap that comes with the camera more than adequate.
Worked well [Posted on 2008-07-23] I mainly bought this package for the extra battery it would provide. For just a few bucks more, I get a case and metal neck strap. The case was nice and comfortable on my belt and worked well for walking around town to snap some pics on vacation. I had no need for the neck strap. Its quite long and not too comfortable in the heat, so I left it at home. The battery worked fine and I got a couple days, 100's of pictures and a dozen or so video's off just one charge. I think it was a good value.
Nice material and snap, but a bit snug w/ the SD870 [Posted on 2008-07-25] Very pleased with the extra battery and the carrying case. Only minor complaint/hassle is that the SD870 feels just a hair too long for the case. You need to work a little to get the snap shut.
