A lot less expensive than the original Panasonic battery, this Digipower product has caused me no problems so far. I got it as the second spare to the two original Panasonics I have (a single spare is so very risky!) and can't see a significant difference in battery life in comparison to them, although I use it just as frequently. I'm happy with the Digipower despite a previous bad experience with their rechargeable AA's.

The battery does what it is supposed to do. Nice to have a battery backup, my FZ50 eats batteries for lunch

This battery pack is absolutely physically compatible with the Panasonic FZ camera, but it is barely compatible with the charger. Just hangs on by a thread!
Still, it charged up just fine, and has provided good service.
