It's definitely worth a small additional purchase to get this starter kit. A camera case is always needed. It's great to have rechargeable batteries, so there's no need to continually purchase and replace AA alkaline batteries.

ORDERED THIS BACK AT THE BEGINNING OF FEBRUARY AND STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED IT. WHY IS IT TAKING AMAZON SO LONG TO GET IT IN. WOULD LIKE TO GET IT BEFORE I WENT ON VACATION.

I looked everywhere for a replacement charger for my Mom's camera, and this was the only place that I could find it. It had a really quick shipping time, and works just as well as the one that was lost. This is a good item to have, even if you already have a case and everything, this one is just the right size for the fuji a series cameras.
