USB Eneloop Charger--fantastic! [Posted on 2008-08-20] This review is for the USB charger for 2 AA/AAA batteries.
It is the perfect size for travel--SO lightweight, and so far (only 1 charge in) has worked like a charm. Sure, the charge takes longer via USB, but what a convenient option to have!
I also purchased the 4 AA/AAA charger on Amazon--model NC-MQN06U. Also very compact, and to settle some questions: the unit label lists input at 100-240V, so traveling abroad shouldn't be a problem.
I am very pleased with the quality and practicality of this product from Amazon.
Disappointed with Eneloop Batteries [Posted on 2008-08-23] After reading the reviews I thought this would be the perfect rechargeable battery for my camera. I was wrong. They do not hold a charge longer than a day, if that. Also it takes longer to take a picture using these batteries than other rechargeable. I made 2 phone calls to the company asking if they have a return or exchange policy. They have not returned my phone call.
My favorite rechargeables [Posted on 2008-08-24] I really don't buy anything but Eneloops, or the like anymore. It's nice to have batteries that aren't at 20% power in a week or two of being in the drawer.
Of the new class of hybrid batteries I really like Eneloops the best, although Rayovac Hybrids are pretty good also. I've found the Eneloops are the least likely to loose charge capacity and the most reliable overall.
great charge [Posted on 2008-08-25] They came charged, and have stayed strong longer than, perhaps, any other rechargeable I've gotten. These may end our frustration with rechargeables, to which I am determined to stay committed.
Awesome shelf life! [Posted on 2008-08-27] Sanyo eneloops are the best! I have a pair of Sony rechargeables and they only last a day or two in the kitchen drawer. These eneloops have lasted MONTHS in the drawer without needing a recharge. They last a long
time in a device as well. Money well spent!
