I love the carrying case. It really protects my camera. I don't have to worry about damaging the camera by putting it in my purse. The small compartments inside for both the memory card and extra batteries makes life easier for any photographer. I plan on buying another one for my boyfriend who has the same camera that I have.

NOT A HAPPY CAMPER!!!CAMERA FITS FINE IN IT BUT WILL OPEN UP,THE LATCH NEEDS TO BE A LITTLE STRONGER.I PAID MUCH MORE FOR THE CASE THEN LISTED HERE.STRAP ON IT CANNOT BE MADE LONGER,VERY DISSAPOINTED.I HAVE MS AND DON'T LIKE TO HAVE IT ON MY SHOULDER,WHEN I DO IT CONSTANTLY FALLS OFF!!I LOVE KODAK PRODUCTS BUT NOT THIS ONE.HOPE I WAS HELPFUL,

This week I got back from a trip to the Everglades and this time I had my camera accesible and well protected from elements and impact at the same time. My hands were free and what is best I did not have the camera hanging from my neck (I had it attached to my belt).
The magnetic clasp is very strong and won't flip open by accident. If you buy it for a Z7590 you will have to remove the padded insert in order for your camera to fit, but even then it will still be well protected.

In looking through camera cases I saw this under the Kodak name and saw the very reasonable price and ordered it. I have a Kodak DX6340 and it is a good fit. I can use it with the inner cushion pads in place and it is very well protected. If it was just a little bit larger in height and width it would be perfect. The extra height would make it easier to store batteries and memory cards, and the extra width would be to have a place to store the strap when not in use. The only real fault I can find is if someone has a larger camera they would have to remove some of the inner cushion pads and lose their protection against the camera being dropped or hit. I believe Amazon would do well to put this one in their inventory as I do not like the involved and expensive return policy of the third party.
Good Little Carrying Bag For Camera [Posted on 2008-12-17]
I like the leather(-like?) material the bag is made of; it feels good to the touch. The camera and shoulder cord fit pretty well into the bag. I have the Kodak EasyShare model Z7590, and am finally glad I got an actual storage pouch-bag for it, to protect it, since it (the camera) has given me so much happiness already.
