They are physically squirrelly and may or may not work in the target device depending on weather they get a good seat.

So it's $6.99 for a single plastic shell? Seriously?
How many adapters come in a package? One, as the product description seems to indicate? Or four, as there are four adapters displayed in the picture? Or two as one reviewer stated he received?
Also, I seriously doubt that the weight of this package is "8 pounds" as mentioned in the product description. Are these adapters, like, from the future?

I bought these to use with my eneloop AA batteries. They do the job. It just sucks that shipping is more expensive than the actual items!! lol.

Got a product that takes D cells? Here's just the ticket. And they're so clever. Rather than spend a fortune on D-cell batteries, pop some AA batteries in these shells and install them, instead. Sure costs less over the long run, and they work very nicely.
I use mine in a motion sensor trash can lid. I placed four Sanyo Eneloop* AA batteries in the shells, installed and forgot 'em. Over nine months later they're still going strong.
I haven't tried them in anything that draws a lot of power, but they do FINE for what I needed.
Amazing.
*Results with other types of rechargeables will probably differ. Eneloop batteries are a fairly new generation of NiMH rechargeables. They hold a charge for up to a year where older types drain down in just a few days. You can pick up Eneloops right here at Amazon. I highly recommend them!

I ordered only 1 package sale $4.99 after that i read the review of MICHAEL SCHILLI: he mentioned that is wrong description because is only 1 plastic shell in the package?????????? MICHAEL SCHILLI IS WRONG.......i didn't ordered more thanks his stupid review now aren't on sale
