My original equipment EN-EL3 lasted through approximately 800 pix on my D70 for the first 6 months and after 18 months lasts through approximately 450. This Lenmar replacement appears to last through 600 for the first 2 cycles of use, which I suspect is due in part to my fairly exclusive use of the 18-200mm lens which is much more power hungry than the 18-70. My un-scientific opinion is that this battery is equivalent to the OEM.
