Easy Purchase and prompt delivery [Posted on 2007-01-09] I ordered this item for my son who lost his charger. The order process was smooth and the delivery prompt. I will be ordering another one because the U.S. Postal Service or Italian Postal Service lost it or it was stolen in transit to Genova, Italy. This time I will deliver it personally. The item costs nearly double the price in Italy compared to the states..
Multi-Charger [Posted on 2007-01-11] Perfect for the person who needs 2 batteries charged. Only thing i see that some may not like is the batteries charge one at a time. But if you just want the luxury of not having to worry about changing batteries after one is charged, this is what you want.
Misleading and overpriced [Posted on 2007-02-27] Nikon's recommended price for this product is an absolute joke!
As others have mentioned this product charges one battery after another - which is perfect for overnight charging, but not if you need to quickly charge batteries in the field. It is also by no means a travel charger. The thing is HUGE and bulky. Much larger than 2 of the standard D200/D70 chargers - especially surprising given that it doesnt charge two batteries simulataneously.
I got it because I lost my original charger (whcih I still hope to find), and its definitely nice to be able to charge two batteries overnight but definitely would be a letdown had I paid the full recommended price!
Nikon MH-19 Multi Battery Charger [Posted on 2007-07-21] It appears the charger does not charge two batteries simultaneous, rather it seems it charges them sequential which of course takes twice the time!
One is better off with two individual chargers!
NOT a double Charger - Don't be fooled [Posted on 2007-12-25] This product only charges ONE battery at a time. Something not mentioned on the Nikon site.
The only reason I'm keeping this is I travel by car a lot, and it has the option to charge via 12v. Aside from that, I'd be better off buying a second single charger.
