I bought 2 batteries as backups on my Canon XTi. The battery works great on my camera. The voltage is rated at 7.4v which matches Canon XTi's specification. Can't beat the price. Highly recommended.

Ever wonder how names like Can___ JV__ and Son__ make their money? By having you buy their outstandingly expensive accessories. For instance my ZR800 Camera. Cannon supplies a battery (with the camcorder) good for about an hour at 530mAh for around $60 retail. This Opteka battery is double the capacity (1200mAh) with... you guessed it.. double the battery life for about a tenth of the cost. Simply pick up a consumer reports sometime and you'll see that most times name brands AREN'T better.

I got 2 of these batteries with the Opteka grip. Maybe I got duds, but after about a month they lost their ability to hold a charge for more than 15 minutes.
Does not fit battery charger [Posted on 2008-02-02]
The batteries (I got three of them) seem to fit my G7 perfectly, but they will not fit the battery charger so I will be returning them. I did not get a chance to use them in the camera as I prefer to use charged batteries, not flat ones.
