I bought three of these batteries. One quit holding a charge almost immediately. The others don't seem to last any longer than batteries with less mAh. The only redeeming thing is they are cheap. Buy a bunch of them, shipping costs more than the batteries.

I ordered TWO of these and both are working well. They have nearly twice the capacity of the original manufacturer's item.

At $9.98 the Opteka 2000mAh battery is not only cheaper than the stock Canon battery, but it holds more power for longer use (more photographs) between charges. The quality must be there too because the manufacturer guarantees them for three years. I purchased four about three months ago and have had no problems with any of them.
