Panasonic Upper Arm BP Monitor [Posted on 2008-07-04] This was a great buy. There was a $30 discount in effect at the time. That and free shipping brought the price to about $84. It got here very quickly.
It's very convenient. Doesn't have to be taken out of a case and put back. Just sits there waiting for those arms! Took to the doctor's office and it was found to be accurate. No muss, no fuss. Put arm in, push button, there it is. Can get the average of all saved readings and can recover earlier readings one at a time, starting with the latest. Doesn't save a reading unless you press Save. So if you mess up, the bad reading isn't calculated into the average. Can track 2 people, saving 90 readings for each person. I've got 2 other machines, one wrist, one cuff, both Omrons. They give pretty accurate readings also, but no more so than this one. And this one is by far the most convenient. If I bought another, it would be this machine.
BEST FOR THE MONEY [Posted on 2008-07-14] THIS MACHINE PROVED TO BE VERY ACCURATE,AS I CHECKED IT WITH MY DOCTOR. EASY TO USE. I WOULD BUY ANOTHER ONE IF I NEEDED IT. THE BEST PRICE WAS THRU AMAZON
Returned because got more "error" messages than readings [Posted on 2008-07-16] I do not recommend this product. While it's a wonderful design and would be very much easier to use than my current pump up one. It gives more error messages with the readings than readings. I was VERY disappointed.
Amazon made the return very easy, and I appreciated that but the product is a definate PASS.
Panasonic Upper Arm BP Monitor [Posted on 2008-07-19] I've been using Panasonic's monitor for 6 weeks now and think it's great. Don't have to fiddle with trying to adjust the Velcro-covered arm piece as on the other models...Panasonic's BP monitor is easy and simple to use, and has a log that remembers your numbers with room for a second person's log too. Having a table or desk to set it on while sitting next to it to take your BP is a must...the monitor can easily be removed when not in use. Uses either batteries or is electric. A great monitor I highly recommend.
Panasonic BP Monitor [Posted on 2008-10-01] We used to have the type of monitor that uses a strap to wrap around your arm, and the reading is not accurate, because it depends on how tight you wrap the strap around your arm. With this monitor it works very gently like a professional machine.
