The card performed very well on my D300. The speed in continuous mode was excellent and the 8 GB were more than enough on my three weeks vacations.

SanDisk Extreme III 8GB c/f was ordered from Amazon but sold by Nextweb Sales. Amazon web site clearly showed this to be an "EU Retail Package". The c/f card I received came in a plain brown envelope, not the official SanDisk box. There was no plastic sealed wrap, no warranty paper, no RescuePro CD and the card was used. At the minimum, this should have been advertised as an OEM item. Called SanDisk and they verified that the card was indeed legitimate. Amazon is a top-notch reputable organization. Be careful with the off-site sellers.

Can someone shed light on a question I have?
Amazon is selling the Sandisk Extreme III 8.0 CF (in EU package for $55), and it claims the retail price is $129, it is a also selling the Sandisk Extreme III 8.0 CF (in Retail package for $94), with the claim that the retail price is $394. The reviews for each of these are the same reviews. . .
Is there a difference between the EU package and the Retail package?
I have the EU package card and it works superbly.
