Camera turned on...that's a good sign.
I was a little wary ordering it since it wasn't a Sony battery. Also, the Techincal Details on the product page said that the replacement battery was 7.6V (original battery is only 3.6V). I was relieved when the battery arrived - it has "3.7V" printed on the battery casing. And they make it a point to also print that the CELLS are from Japan, I guess in case you were wondering since the battery unit itself is made in China.
Will update the review if there is any change, good or bad.
