Breaks easily [Posted on 2006-07-20]
An item you can't do without if you want to use the wonderful lens attachements. But it breaks easily, usually it's the spring that breaks, once it was the other plastic parts. It's best to leave it on the camera, which becomes cumbersome to carry. I have now gone through 3 of them, and I treat them VERY gently.

Simply put the VAD-PHC Lens Adapter does just what it is supposed to do, that is, provide a base onto which I can mount particular lenses onto my camera. My only wish is that it could be made either a bit sturdier or a more compact.

The product works well and is easy to use. Only negative is it must be removed to attach cable for down loading of photos.

I am extremely pleased with the Sony VAD-PHC Lens Adapter for DSCP100/P150/P200 Digital Cameras. I am now able to get up close and personal with the many birds and wildlife critters roaming in my backyard. I would highly recommend this product to anybody interested in getting high quality photos with their digital camera using this lens. It brings the subject that you are taking the picture of so close, you feel as if you could almost touch it. I am truly delighted with this Lens Adapter.
