Great battery at bargain price [Posted on 2005-03-29]
Ordered on 3/25 and even with the Easter holiday weekend, arrived on 3/29. Highest mAh rating of all available ENEL1 type batteries (almost double the 680 mAh Nikon provided) and at a bargain price!

Received batteries within timeline that vendor promised.
Batteries are rated as having the highest mAh available, but I see little to no difference between these generics and the Nikon brand...other than price.In fact, I'm frequently puzzled by how quickly they lose charge. I bought two, both behave the same way. And yes, I followed the charging instructions!
Don't be fooled by the 1100mAh rating [Posted on 2007-04-04]
I bought a couple of these Nikon EN-EL1/Konica Minolta NP-800 equivalent batteries for my Konica Minolta A200 camera. Their performance is simply terrible. The OEM NP-800 (rated at 800mAh) can take 150 - 200 photos, but the SterlingTek can only take a few dozens. I didn't bother to return them because of the hassle and shipping charges.
If you want to use third-party batteries, try Lenmar or Ultralast. I have used them on my Sony Alpha A100 and Panasonic Lumix LX2. The performance has been great from these brands.
Better Than Disposables [Posted on 2008-01-02]
I bought this battery for my Nikon Coolpix 4300 digital camera, but when I was in San Francisco I lost everything. I had two batteries and a 1GB memory card in the case that I left in the rental car. I wanted a third battery for my camera, because I take a lot of pictures when I am on vacation asnd the charge only lasts so long. The rechargeable batteries don't last as long as the disposable ones, but you save a lot of money with these and they're convenient. I bought another Nikon camera and again, I bought the camera with the rechargeable battery. I like them much better.
