Flash drive itself is good but you need to consider more before decide [Posted on 2007-07-31] I bought this expecting better speed with larger memory size for writing to my digital camera(Nikon coolpix8800).
Because of the number 266x I was expexting untra-high speed memory.
As a result, you cannot expect such high speed by just changing your flash memory with your machine.
In my case, I can not notice very big difference of writing speed between my previous memory and this one. But the price difference was almost three times more compared to the conventional ones.
You need to consider more if you want to choose this because of writing speed in your digital camera. 8x or 40x memory can give you similar result with much cheaper cost if you are using the same machine.
I could only feel slightly faster writing time to the memory. This means 266x does not mean that it is 266 times faster one.
And there was no error yet while using this one with my digital camera.
For the same capacity of high speed memory Transcend's ones are much cheaper. In that sense this product is worth to buy.
works great [Posted on 2007-10-06] I use this card in a Nikon D200. I have an 8gb sandisk extreme 4 card along with a Lexar Pro 4gb card and some 8gb transcend 120x cards.
This card is as fast as my extreme 4 card if not faster. I have used it for over 3000 photos now and have no complaints. for the price, it is great.
I highly recommend transcend cards, this is my 3rd one and will be purchasing more.
Best deal in memory [Posted on 2008-08-27] Transcend Memory cards are the best deal available. I have several in both SD and CompactFlash format, regardless of size, they improve the performance of the camera with the high speed write time. I have never had a failure of which I feel very fortunate, but that could just be due to the quality of this product. Excellent buy, look no further.
Fast card and great value [Posted on 2008-10-05] Having a 133x Transcend already, I was looking to maximize burst speed on my A100, and I guess, I did. The actual burst speed with the 266x is barely noticeable in fps over the 133x, but write from camera buffer to 266x is faster. Overall, for the $32/performace, and if there's a need for an extra card anyway, worth the money.
