This camera is everything I expected and more. Great camera for the price. I love the screen size and the pictures. Wish the battery level indicator stayed on all the time but other than that it's great. Amazon has never failed me.

Bought as gift for wife and right off the bat she was taking pictures. For her it's important to be easy to use. The pics are really good and it seems to do a fair job in lesser light photography. The battery lasted fairly long although I will be buying a backup just for ease since she's not to quick to remember to charge it when it's low or out.
I would replace with the same camera again if I had to since I tried two others first that were more expensive and didn't fit our needs.

One of the most impressive small cameras ever! The quality of photos is amazing. I bought this camera for my (teen) daughter. I have been in Advertising for many years and now ask her to take pictures for my projects and ads. This is our fourth Canon Camera in the past four years and it's great!

I upgraded to this camera from a Kodak v550. My sister just came back after 3 yrs in Sweden and she has this Canon. I was amazed at the size, picture quality and the huge view screen. One thing I was advised to do is apply the clear screen protector and I did that...it was effortless. My old digital got nasty wear marks on it that would not come off so I am preventing that this time. I recommend it and they come with a cleaning cloth that fits great in the case I got with it. I didn't order mine from Amazon, but the place I did order it from had a bundle deal that consisted of the cam, a case, 2 GB card, a monopod and a longer life battery. I bought the screen protector extra...worth the $3.99 for sure. I love the vividness of the photos and the ease of downloading to my computer. Haven't played with all of the features yet, just got it 2 days ago.
